I know Tim posted about this at the start of the month, but I was hoping you wouldn't mind if I gave you a gentle reminder that voting for the Irish Book Awards ends on 1st May. Gallows Lane is up for Irish Crime Novel of the Year and the winner is selected, in part, by a public vote. I'd really appreciate any support my fellow MNWers might be willing to give. You can vote at the following address:
Your support is much appreciated!

Does one have to be Irish to vote?
Hi Brian
Just popped in to vote on the way to picking up mother and baby from the hospital. Big congrats, and I'm crossing everything that you win (it would be nice to have both yourself and Ann winning a couple of prizes this year!!)
Doug - I'm half irish, does that count?
Always worth a reminder, Brian...
Doug: it appears not. Just an ability to put in an email address and then click on the link when they send you an email confirmation.
You have my vote without hesitation, amigo.
I voted. But they made me change my name. They gave me a choice of either McWorgul or O'Worgul.
Voted! Best of luck, Brian.
Many thanks folks for your support-and congratulations Matt - a much more important piece of news!
Doug - the new names kind of suit you. In fact, Mc and O both mean 'son of', so it kind of applies to most men, I suppose. You could start a trend in your part of the world.
Hi Rhian! Hope all is well with you.
Am I right in thinking the results are announced tonight? Good luck, anyway!
