Face out and on special offer in a station - I think that's what they call the Holy Grail.
To give all Macmillan New Writers a voice and blog/web presence if they so require it. A presence to enable them to spread their news good or bad, a platform to discuss their writing and the whole experience of being published under Macmillan New Writing...

Faye, I shall now have to worship you as befits your newfound status as a literary goddess. Go you!
Why thank you, my dear, although I'm not sure it is appropriate for one literary goddess to worship another. Perhaps we should declare a day of feasting?
Cool, Faye!
And to think I bought it full price in hardcover!
Oh, well. I'm glad I didn't wait.
Woo hoo!
Yee-hah! Go Faye! Holy Grail indeed...
Congratulations, Faye!
Thanks all! It was a very pleasant surprise to find those in my phone inbox, as I'm sure you can imagine.
Great to see, Faye. Congratulations and much success.
I also meant to say how wonderful it is that your book is in W H Smith! The only bookshop in our town is WHS and they will never, ever stock my books.
Thanks Brian!
Eliza, it could be that you just haven't been in a branch that stocks your books. None of the local branches of Smith's I've checked have had CTM (admittedly, I've only checked two, but anyway), so there's obviously some variation in stock throughout chains.
I've been in quite a few but admittedly around here they tend to mainly to stock Richard and Judy reads (not that I'm dissing R & J, To Kill a Mocking Bird, and Jane Eyre, and then lots of not-very-funny funny non-book books that people might put in Christmas stockings.
They'll order in the books but that's not as magnificent by half!
