Borderlands in Houston

Here are my pictures of Brian Gilloway's Borderlands in a Houston Barnes & Noble. Brian's in good company: Ed McBain, John Mortimer, and Walter Mosley. Pretty exciting, isn't it?

Hi Ann

I've commented on both of these posts on David's but just a quick note of thanks for the support. Being in the company of McBain and Mosley may just be a quirk of alphabetical surnames but I'll happily take the compliment anyway and say thanks!

Best
Brian

This is the nearest I shall get to being in a USA book store! Very well done, Brian. You must be thrilled.

I dunno, Frances...actually, I think Dead Ernest would appeal to a lot of readers over here, if only you could somehow get their attention.

It's getting their attention that's the problem...

Thank you for that, David (although I meant I myself, rather than my books. I hate flying!). But perhaps you'd like to represent me...?

Congrats, Brian! I live just north of Houston in Spring. I'll look for Borderlands the next time I'm in our Barnes & Noble.

I just found out about MacMillan New Writing and submitted my first book, Bicycle Shop Murder.

It's great to see how you MacMillan New Writers support each other. I'd love to join your ranks. But then, so would thousands of other writers. :)

Thanks for sharing on this blog. Best wishes to all of you and your books!
