And talking of short stories

My short story, A Fair Deal, appears in the Sunday Express Magazine today, ahead of the publication of the paperback of A Very Persistent Illusion next week. There's still time to dash out and get a copy of the Express ....

Congratulations, Len! I am not sure that I can face braving the teeming rain for the Express, but I'll search around for my wellies and mac and maybe do a quick dash.

Excellent news, Len. From what I understand, the Express is highly regarded in the newspaper world. I'll try to see if I can find it online.

Have you made a decision about coming to the States for the Edgar awards ceremony?

That was a good read - nice one, Len.

Congrats, Len! I can't get a paper, but will try to find it on line.

Thanks, Aliya! I hope you didn't get too wet, Maxine, and thanks for the mention on Twitter. Not sure, Frances and Ann, whether it's available online or not - I'll put up a link if I can locate it. Yes, the plan is to visit the US for the Edgars and to go on to "Malice Domestic" in Virginia afterwards - my New York publisher is kindly making the arrangements.

Bugger. Read this a little too late. Belated congratulations Len (and the loud banging noise you might be hearing is me kicking myself for not looking in on the blog each morning!)

Drat - like Matt I was too late for this one. Many congratulations Len - hope you get some good feedback and, more importantly, more readers for the novels!

Damn - missed out on this! You should have blown your trumpet a bit earlier...

Glad to see you're off to the States for the Edgars. It always add to the lustre of the ceremony when the winner is on hand to receive the award!

Yes, sorry about the late posting - last time round the date of publication got changed and I wanted to make sure it was definitely in this week's edition before I posted. I haven't found a way to access it on line yet - it's in the bit called S Magazine, by the way.
