Mr. Atkins sent this to me yesterday --- the cover design for the paperback edition of Thin Blue Smoke, to be released in June:

This cover hits it out of the ballpark. I love this, and I'm with Alis. It's the best one I've seen in ages. It's also refreshing to have faces on the cover.

Great cover, Doug.  Now just imagine a stack of these on the table in a Waterstones or Barnes and Noble, their pristine shiny covers gleaming back at you!  If this happens at our Waterstones in Sheffield I’ll post a photo!

I love seeing humans on a book cover that are not donning Amish bonnets or Regency gowns. Seriously.
