This is fantastic, Roger! The books have not reached the Indian shores. But I am in London end June and I plan to do some book shopping (I have been saving up for this)and your books (both) are high on the list. I remember those early days of anxieties, exhultations. It makes me rejoice to see that you have gone places. Is there no literary event, say a book launch where I could meet the gang of MNW authors while I am there in London from 26 June to 4 July?

Congratulations Roger

Time to shake the cat off your shoulder and press the tux. The best of luck on the night.

Well done, Roger. I'm so pleased for you. And Suroopa - it's a nice idea for us all to meet. Does it have to be a launch, or could some of us just meet somewhere for lunch or a drink? I don't often come up to London because of distance, but it would be good to have a get-together and meet all the other 'names'. Does anyone else agree or have an idea as to how it could be managed?

Frances, I would love it if such a get-together can be organised. Say a literary lunch? Can anyone make it happen?

Thanks Len and everyone! Really nice to see your friendly supportive comments. I can't quite believe I'm on the list - but I now have a glass plaque to prove it.

Oh, and congratulations Len on your new deal, which I read about below. Plus I believe you're in the running for an award????

Hi Suroopa, nice to hear from you. If anything does get planned, I will try to make it...

Suroopa - perhaps it would be best if you picked a possible date (or perhaps two), and we could then see how many people could make it/them? For it to be worthwhile, we'd need a minimum number of people to come, don't you think? Maybe we should post an invitation on the main blog to catch people's attention? It's worth a try!

Excellent news, Roger. July 10 is the day and like Sion, my fingers are crossed. Be sure to let us know how it all goes.
