Autumn meeting?

It occurred to me, reading the recent MNW emails, that it might be good to have another (lunch?) meeting this year - perhaps in the autumn? I know we don't even seem to have a summer yet, but given how busy and far apart we all are, would now be a good time to start thinking about it? Are enough people interested? (come on, Ann, Maggie and David and others across the pond - this would give you plenty of time to book your flights!)

Just a thought.

My lovely slim (size 10) daughter had triplets. As you can imagine, carrying three babies does nothing for your (her) lovely slim body, so she was left with a bit of a tummy, which nothing short of a tummy tuck (and she's too sensible to have one of those) can resolve. She met someone who was going to film an advert for big knickers in Canada, and said (thinking : free holiday, all expenses paid, plus a fee) what about her? So off she went to do her thing with these big knickers. And I mean big. These are industrial knickers. Some even have shoulder straps. They hold everything in and let nothing out.

She's back now, and had a great time, but found flapping her loose tummy up and down (for the "before" pics) in front of 5 cameramen rather humiliating. She is fervently hoping these ads will not be shown over here, but fears they may be.

So that's the story. And now to our meeting. How about October? That would be a start, and we can work out exaclty when according to who can manage which date(s).; 21 May 2010 at 19:27

The first week is probably worth avoiding as I will be involved with son no 1 getting back to university - me, him and an estate car full of stuff.
