Not from me, but from Matt. Over on his blog he has posed a trio of "would you still write if..." questions he was asked at a convention.
He has invited comments before he reveals his own answers.

Good news!
I was going to tuck this modestly away on my own blog, but I've been a bit short on good news recently so I hope you'll all excuse this.
I've just heard from Will that Tesco are going to stock The Birds, the Bees and Other Secrets in their "much sought-after" women's fiction section for the summer, and I'm very excited! So please join me in a glass of cyber champagne (ok, Tesco's Cava, then).

Len Rides Again
I'm addicted to spreading the good news! Reading about the successes of authors I admire always cheers me up. So here it is: the news that Len has made the shortlist for the Crimefest Last Laugh Award with Ten Little Herrings. Many congratulations, Len.

Huddling in Small Whatevers
So we'd mentioned setting up a Google Group. So here it is. Well, you can't see it, because it's private. But I did send out invitations. If yours bounced or spammed or you don't think I've got your email and you want in, let me know.
