Hi Doug. I know very litte about the book fairs, except that Macmillan, like all the publishers, will (for example) be showcasing their books for the scouts who are looking to buy rights to publish books in their own countries (known for some reason as 'territories'). Agents also attend the fairs, looking for possible clients. If you want to know what's happening vis a vis your own novel, you could contact Macmillan direct, and they may put you in touch with the Rights Department, but it's probably best to wait until they have news for you.
Not very helpful, I'm afraid, but better than nothing! (And apologies if I've got any of this wrong).
