Don't Be Afraid to Give a Shout

With things at MNW moving away from the book-per-month model, life is becoming more complex for this blog, and more subject to operator error (i.e. mine. Tim's, too.) In the future, we may have Books of the Month, rather than Book, and this time round Faye's new novel will be Book of the Months, since nothing else is forthcoming in October (which conveniently means she'll still be reigning on the blog on her birthday).

So, give us a hand in keeping our act together. If you are expecting interview questions and don't see them arriving in your Inbox, give us a gentle but firm e-nudge. If that doesn't work, try an e-kick. And if anything needs updating--addresses on the sidebar, or whatever--let us know. I'm sure I speak for Tim as well as myself when I assert that both of us are always glad of any excuse to knock off doing honest work.

Thanks again for doing all this, guys/

Hear, hear! Thank you. Any operator errors are very willingly overlooked!

I second that. It's a thankless task, and you both do it brilliantly!

Aww, now I feel guilty for asking! You both do indeed do a brilliant job (and you appear to have memorised our birthdays, David, which surely goes above and beyond the call of duty!).

Thanks, all. But I'm quite serious when I say that a good nudge, or even forceful push, often might be in order--and would be welcomed rather than resented.

And I confess I don't know everyone's birthday. But I do remember Faye's (approximately) because, a) she posted it in a long list of About Me material, and, b) it was right near Halloween, her favorite holiday, and c) it stuck with me that she was a Scorpio, which seemed only right for someone who has an Edgar Allan Poe action figure by her desk.

You know, no one's ever surprised by my sign. If I had a pound for every time I've heard the words "That explains a lot..."

Yep.

I'd just like to add my thanks to Tim and David for running the blog - the glue that holds us MNWers together. As Frances says, it can be a thankless task, but we really are all very grateful.

Re stereotyping, I am also Scorpio in addition to being (harking back to a discussion on this blog long ago) Rabbit.

I'm a Scorpio Rabbit too - we could take over the world!
