Congratulations, Brian

Warm congratulations to Brian, whose books seem to be selling like hot cakes (Borderlands down to 547 on Amazon today). Another very good advertisement for MNW (and a nice birthday present for, them too).

That's excellent news! Congrats to Brian...
The paperback coverage of Borderlands has been pretty extensive, as I understand it.

In Sheffield's Waterstone's there was a healthy stack of Borderlands books (around 20) on the 3 for 2 table. A week later there was but five left (and I purchased one of the remainder!).
With luck, the popularity of Borderlands will move swiftly on to Gallows Lane while the latter is in hardback...

This is very good news. Borderlands is a highly accomplished novel and deserves to go even higher on the Amazon list!

Thanks Frances, Matt & Tim

(That's great news about Waterstones, Matt and thanks for the purchase!)
The Guardian ran a review of Borderlands last week which seems to have kickstarted sales quite a bit. I know Publishing News are running a piece on MNW this Friday which is also very favourable. Let's hope it's a rising tide that floats all our boats.
Best

Bravo, Brian!

And hope Borderlands storms across the US later this year...

Cool, Brian! That's great about Waterstones in Sheffield, too. IF that's a litmus test for the rest of the country--WOW!

Just back from a week (working) in York and catching up on posts. Congratulations, Brian, on the sales figures. I checked out our local Borders in Islington, which had about 20 copies on the tables and shelves - which was 20 more than they had of mine. Waterstones had a dozen - also well displayed. Looks as though it's going well!

I recently took out a subscription to PN and my copy arrived today: in time to read the article on MNW! A very good article and very favorable coverage. Interesting stats too:
"Some 8,500 novels have been assessed to date, of which MNW have signed up 35."

Hi Aliya, David, Eliza, Len & Rhian.

Thanks, all, for your good wishes. Yes, Rhian, the PN piece was very favourable to MNW and hopefully will put to bed once and for all, all the nonsense that greeted MNW's inception.
