All depends on location. Browns is good for Goldsboro. To be fair if we're going there we might as well invite David and co too.mattfwcurran.com Web Admin https://www.blogger.com/profile/13651266491906006561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5642795057392908919.post-32166674496565999042010-01-13T11:11:11.714+00:002010-01-13T11:11:11.714+00:00I’m not sure I’m any sort of expert – we tend to e...I’m not sure I’m any sort of expert – we tend to eat out in Islington rather than anywhere more central - but here are a few suggestions. The pub Alis mentions is Canal 125. I recently went with Will to a better one near King’s Cross – The Fellow http://www.thefellow.co.uk/pdf/Sample%20Menu%20-%20Website.pdf – fairly substantial food, good location if you also have business at Macmillan or want to go to the British Library afterwards. I haven’t been there myself but our son recommends the Wolseley (Piccadilly) http://www.thewolseley.com/Menu.aspx – looks good but not cheap. Or we could just pitch up at Browns near Charing Cross (convenient for Covent Garden, bookshops etc). http://www.browns-restaurants.co.uk/uploads/menus/cg-LDN%20LUNCHEARLY.pdf Other may have better ideas …

(Sorry - having problems with hyperlinks - hopefully you can cut and paste addresses above if the links don't appear.)Len Tylerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14998938558543525457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5642795057392908919.post-56585829554656894032010-01-13T08:46:57.289+00:002010-01-13T08:46:57.289+00:00I can do 12.30 or 1 so either would be good. Not sure I could find it again unless somebody gave me the address though!

You're right Eliza, Len's our man on this one.
